- I will drink a minimum of 64 oz. of water a day. This does not mean diet soda, sports drinks, or any other beverage.
- I will not eat processed or sugary foods.
- When I give in and eat things I shouldn’t, I will immediately take control and do better at my next meal or snack.
- I will recognize the difference between actual hunger and emotional or bored eating.
- I will surround myself with success by preparing my food, cleaning my cupboards, setting attainable personal goals, and seeking support when I need it.
- I will eat the right foods every 2-3 hours to maintain stable insulin levels and keep sugar cravings at bay.
- I will only eat foods that provide great nutrients for my body and will not eat starchy carbs after dinner.
- I will take it upon myself to learn how to live a healthier lifestyle and take accountability for my health and waist size.
- I will find a distraction when cold pizza, leftover birthday cake, or any trigger foods are present. I will think past my taste buds.
- I will be my own cheerleader and think positively. Though I will rely on others for support, I will not accept any excuse for failing to reach my goals.
